Field Trip!

Jacksen had his first field trip last Friday. They

went to the Fort. I left Jennah and Joel with a friend so I could go with Jacksen and take a group of his friends. In all the rush of getting Jennah and Joel to my friends house I forgot the camera. The class only stayed about an hour so after school we went home and got the camera and went back so Jennah could see everything. It was really nice after school because all the crowds were gone. I let the kids pick out something, Jacksen got a raccoon fur covered Indian pouch and Jennah got a wooden snake. We only made it home with Jacksen's pouch. Jennah must have laid it down somewhere. Oh well she wasn't too upset.

Go Braves!

Jacksen had his second game tonight. We never found out if we won or lost. Jacksen thinks they win every game. He got a hit but did not make it home this time. He also had a soccer game on Saturday we tied 2-2. The score was 2-1 and one of our kids scored a point for the other team. They are so fun to watch at this age! We had a good Easter weekend we visited family and Jonathan went fishing and caught two fish! The kids loved their Easter baskets. I went to buy everything for there baskets and forgot to make one for Joel I knew Jacksen would question this so right before closing time I went and grabbed a few things for Joel. I think Jacksen enjoyed Joel's more than his. It was so sweet he would pull toy after toy out one by one and show Joel and explain what it was and what it did to Joel. This was before he even looked at his. This was the first time in a long time we have visited both families on the same day. Now that Jonathan is out of school we don't have to worry about rushing back for him to do homework, SO NICE! So we can take our time and enjoy ourselves with both our families.

Busy, Busy, Busy...

Jacksen had "Super Kids Day" today at school. It is so fun seeing him with his friends. This is one of his best friends we hear stories about almost every day. I wanted to take a lot of pictures and as soon as I got the camera out it showed low battery and this is the only shot I got. Isn't that the way it goes. We had a great time. I took Joel to a friends house so Jennah and I could go together. All day Jennah would say "Mom it isn't Super Moms Day it is SUPER KIDS DAY" every time I told her no.

We have had a very busy week this week. Jennah has swim lessons every day this week. Jacksen had soccer practice Monday, ball game Tuesday, ball practice Thursday, Super Kids Day today, Easter school party tomorrow, and a birthday party to go to tomorrow evening. Jonathan and I have been passing each other on the road trying to get everyone where they need to go. I really thought the older the kids got the easier it would be to live away from family. After this week I am thinking I was completely wrong!

Yeah! Jacksen won his first ball game 9-5. Jacksen only got to bat once, but he got a base hit and eventually scored a run! But if you ask Jacksen, it was a home-run. Jonathan was a proud daddy on the sideline, beating his chest and making rude remarks/threats to all passers-by (the previous remark was made by Jonathan).

This is Jacksen with his Papa's prize deer. Jacksen got to go hunting a couple of times and loves it. He also plays soccer and tonight he has his first coach pitch baseball game!

This is Joel. He is sick right now. He has an ear infection and Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Lots of fun! The other two kids started running a fever to so I took all three kids to the doctor yesterday. The doctor said they probably have the same thing. We just have to wait it out there is nothing they can do about it. Joel is normally a very happy baby but the past couple of days he has been so bad!!! I hope this is not a sign of how the others will be when they start getting the rash.

This is Jennah. Jennah loves to sing and dance. She is such a girly girl.

Beginner Blogger

Well here is is! I finally did it. I now have my own blog. I am a beginner blogger I don't even know how to put pictures on here. This will be for distant family and friends and I hope they enjoy getting to see what it is like here at our house.
