Snow Day!
The kids were out of school today along with about every other kid in this area. It really hasn't snowed but that didn't stop us from playing in the ice/sleet. The kids are really at fun ages right now and I think I enjoyed playing with them as much as they did. After playing we came in and had hot cocoa and a snack while I read to them chapter out of the book we are reading together. What a fun day!

"Snow Days" are special.
Your blog reminded me of when you kids had a "Snow Party" on one of your snow days. Do you remember handing out invitations to our neighbors (your grandparents & cousins) & making cupcakes & playing games?
Now that you mention it I do remember having a snow party. I remember making snow flakes out of paper and hanging them all around our dining room and streamers hanging off the ceiling fan. Fun times! Come to think of it, I remember having quite a few parties. I guess I've always enjoyed playing hostess:)
We had fun at dinner Monday night. You're right, you're kiddos are at really fun ages, we enjoyed them. Let's do it more often!
